It's Christmas evening here in Australia and I have had a big day of food, family and fun on the beach! I guess many of you are waking up in the northern hemisphere to a cold winter's morning so it must be odd to imagine my day spent kicking back at the beach, watching Benny run around with my little nephews and some other neighbourhood kids.
Now that it's all quiet again - me on the couch with a glass of wine and Benny curled up at my feet fast asleep (dreaming of frisbees no doubt) - I wanted to grab a moment to tell you guys just how much I truly love and appreciate you! It's been a crazy year for me, in good and bad ways, but one thing is for sure - I have the BEST freaking job in the world and I cannot wait to pull together a bunch of pretty damn exciting loose ends for you all to share with me next year.
Want to know what's in the works? You'll have to wait for my upcoming post about yearly planning for the details, but hey, it's Christmas, so here's a few tidbits..... a new website is currently underway, a new book is being written/drawn and I am going on a big adventure in my campervan around Australia to promote my current book! I might even be visiting your town! How fun!
I don't know about you, but I am so excited about life right now. Despite my current state of exhaustion on the couch, I am brimming with ideas and having you all by my side make the journey all the more amazing!
So thank you. I wish you all the very best for Christmas and I hope that amongst all the family fun times you too find a moment to sit and dream some big, creative, adventurous dreams for 2014!
