I missed FOMM last week due to being in Adelaide for the wonderful Bowerbird Bazaar. But the good thing is, I discovered a whole bunch of new Australia designers to share with you, including the beautiful, earthy work of Oktoberdee!

I really love these gorgeous bags from Oktoberdee, the creative label of Australian designer Lauren Ferry. She also creates a range of fabulous jewellery, leather belts and purses, and I love that she collaborates with Australian artists to create such visually unique pieces like this one above.
These shoes are really pretty great, don't you agree?
I've long been a fan of my friend Jubly-Umph's work but am particularly enamoured with this sailing ship tea set!
I'm enjoying browsing the artwork of Genie Espinosa on Society 6.
This recipe post from lovely Pip has me inspired to make this tuna bake for dinner tonight - such a childhood classic that I haven't had for years! Yum!
And finally, for my fellow drawers out there, now you need never be stuck for inspiration as Amy from Pikaland has made this super fun tool - 1000 things to draw! Even if you're not into drawing this is sure to make you giggle as it randomly places verbs and objects together.... the first one it came up with for me was 'The black hole grabbing a hamster'! Now that would challenge my drawing muscles!!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone! Jen x

Ha! Love that 'things to draw' idea generator! Such a great (and fun) idea!
ReplyDeleteLove it all!! Looking forward to seeing you at Salamanca again soon xx
ReplyDeleteI need to go check out the drawing link. I want to draw so badly, but just don't know where to start or what to draw. Sounds like that would be perfect for me. Thanks for the links! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, I love stuff like that last link. Gonna see what I get...
ReplyDelete"a moth walking with a kite"
I actually think I could do that one, haha! Sounds so whimsical!
Have a lovely weekend, and a fresh new week!
