Illustration Crush - Michael Mullan

I really love the colourful, bold and positive style of today's Illustration Crush, Michael Mullan!

Michael hails from Chicago and now is based in rural Vermont where he produces bold and edgy illustrations for both his own shop and for commercial clients. I really love his colour combinations (red and blue gets me every time!) and the distressed, grungy yet ever-positive textures in his pieces. They are modern but not stark, which I love about his work!

As you can probably tell, he loves to travel and his skylines and geographically-inspired pieces are amongst my favourites of his work. Wouldn't it be amazing to have a wall full of these, a piece of art for each of your favourite cities!
