Illustration Crush - Golly Bard

Golly Bard is the nonsense nickname (and now business name) of illustrator and watercolour artist Holly Ward Bimba. Holly lives in the small town of Upperville, Virginia, USA, and her fascination with insects and the natural world provides endless inspiration for her creations.

As a lover of botanical style art, it's easy to see why I fell in love with Holly's work. I just love the earthy colours and the way her art makes me dream of sweet country landscapes.... Holly is a lover of classic novels and I can seriously imagine her as a modern day Jane Eyre, painting in her little cottage in her small Virginian village.
