My Instachallenge Winners + Getting A Grip On Google+

And so my Year Of Marketing continues with July being Google+ month!

But first, I want to introduce you to the winner of June's Instagram Challenge! Because June was Instagram month, I ran my first challenge - Celebrating Red! I got 71 entries which I think is awesome and today I had the tough task of choosing a winner. Because it was so hard, I choose one ultimate winner and two runner ups.........

Winner - undercover_ewok with the fabulous image above taken at the Sydney Sculpture Trail. I honestly could not go past this as the challenge asked people to celebrate the colour red. Seriously, this is the ultimate image to do so!

Runner Up 1 - willywanmwhimsy with this beautiful red mushroom. I just love that this gorgeous red is completely natural - nature sure is amazing and thankfully we have wonderful photographers like Heidi to capture it!

Runner Up 2 - maxseeeen with this striking image taken at Hobart's Constitution Dock of ship sails peeking out over that beautiful, rich red facade.

Now, getting back to business......

Google+ is a bit of a mystery to me. I've been there for a while but not really done much other than push my blog posts to my feed. But this month, it's all going to change!

First of all I will learn the Google+ ropes. Then I'll do my best to figure out how to effectively use them for my blog and business. Easy, huh?

Because I am starting from a place of complete cluelessness, I am not going to map out a plan like I have for other platforms. Instead, I'm just going to go for it and I'll let you know what I did and didn't do later on down the track!
