It's Time To Shine!

Happy New Year everyone!

I know I'm a week late, but I've been taking a little break from cyberspace to regroup, plan and relax. And I have to say, I am super excited about 2013!

I've been working away on my Incredible Year Planners and coming up with all sorts of dreams and schemes to make 2013 my best year yet so today I want to share with you a few of my creative + business goals for this year.

1. Learn about pricing! I have a bad habit of underselling myself and this year it's going to stop.

2. Turn my three small online stores into one larger (and more successful!) one.

3. Create a wholesale catalogue and find more stores to stock my products.

4. Publish my first book! (So excited about this one!)

5. Be featured in a design magazine and/or major design blog.

6. Align my blog, website and online shops into one professional looking yet still fun, quirky and bright-coloured website.

7. Retire some of my old designs and create a vibrant new collection of work.

I have written many more details about all of these in my planner and I will share more as things progress. It feels to me like 2012 was a year of trying new things, experimenting and learning. Some things worked, some things didn't. Some I enjoyed, some were a real struggle.

Now it's 2013, I have decided this year is all about consolidating all the lessons I learned in 2013 and really starting to shine. And that, my lovely friends and readers, is my sacred word for 2013.

SHINE.

Yes, it's time for this introverted, creative island-girl to fling the curtains of my mind, heart and soul wide open and really shine! And it all starts today!

What's your sacred word for 2013? Do you have one? If not would you like to create one? I'm a curious creature so I'd love to hear from you in the comments below!

Happy New Year beautiful people! Jen x
